is a company set up to look after the wellbeing and health of the Irish

community in London.

I approached Mind Yourself with the idea of setting up a project that would record and document stories of Irish emigration.

It has since been growing and evolving from strenght to strenght. We have a fantastic team of artistically talented people who are all giving their time for free to push and develop the project further. From flash mobs, to printed books of origional short stories, to recordings. Some personal stories being published in the Irish Times. The constantant inpour of personal stories of leaving home for London is as relavent and important as ever.

We are curriently looking for people with skills in film and editing. If you would like to join the team, get in contact... no matter what your talent is...

Team member & writer Bairbre Meade writes about first coming to London.

If you are Irish and would like to controbute ayour story of emegration to the Door to Door Website, we'd love to hear from you.

Just click on the link above. We want to hear your story from the moment you shut the Door in Ireland, untill you opened the Door of your first home in London, New York...where ever you landed. We still want to also hear stories from the LBGT emmigrants.
